Objectives

From 600 millions in 1990, international tourism arrivals in the world are to reach up to 1,6 billion by 2020. In the Mediterranean, forecasts predict a doubling of tourism flows and receipts in the next 25 years. Yet, the technical and ethical aspects of tourism issues are often underminded by the general public as well as by public managers.

Consultants and research departments should possess knowledge and skills specific to the tourism sector, as well as the ability to elaborate practical tools (indicators for instance) for a better management of this activity. This combination of consulting and research is our specificity.

Our identity relies on four characteristics  :

    - a specialisation in the tourism sector,

    - a knowledge of evaluation methodologies and data for the tourism sector,

    - involvement in public policies through past and present experiments,

    - a commitment to environment and sustainable development.
